Research

My research focuses on gas-phase ion chemistry and mass spectrometry, with an emphasis on developing new tools and approaches for elucidating molecular structure and applying mass spectrometry to solve challenging analytical problems. My interests lie in utilizing radiation as a tool to transform and investigate molecular structures. I focus on understanding and applying the fundamental mechanistic processes occurring in the presence of a radiation field. For example, characterizing radiation-induced radical reactions within materials, and harnessing these processes to achieve desirable molecular transformations.
